hi! i'm not an author, so i don't know if i can help, but go to whatever email you use, (it could be any.), and it should say something like "add recipient." copy the email [email protected]. paste the email in the "add recipient" box. click the "subject" box and say something like "author."
you can basically say anything, so here's a random thing i would say.

"Hello! My name is _____ and I'd like to know if I could become an author on KProfiles.
My username is @_____. Thank you so much!"

(the blanks is where you can put your name and username. )
