It's been known that she doesn't like the group's image. She said that idols are supposed to be cute, pretty, and have a child-like image but she wants to be more of that. Something that's not that. She has also stated that she wants to be an idol to break boundaries. She has also stated that she likes their 'fancy' album since it's their most 'mature' concept...

Fancy made me pay more attention to Twice and it must suck being in a group who follows a concept you're not that into.
I hope the future brings more variety of concepts or that Chaeyoung gets a solo to the concept she prefers
