Bang Si-Hyuk recently held a conference meeting about the Company's future plans: -TXT will be having a World Tour after their comeback in 2020
-A New Girl Group will debut in 2021 (Through Plus Global Audition) -A New Boy Group will debut in 2022 (Through Belift+ lab) -As Bighit labels now acquires Pledis, Seventeen and NU'EST join the Bighit labels squad along with BTS, TXT and Gfriend.
-Seventeen will now join Weverse, a fan community meant for Bighit aritsts under beNX lab.
Rumors: After acquiring Pledis Entertainment, Bighit labels might be looking towards acquiring Cube Entertainment, home to artists like Pentagon, CLC and (G)I-DLE.
I don't want to be bad or rude and what I'll say it's not a prediction or anything like that, it's just my point of view; (I'm saying this cause I don't want misunderstandings to occur).
I think BigHit needs to calm down a bit and I'd like to believe that Cube Entertainment won't follow Pledis Entertainment. Plendis as I've heard or read was not such a big company as Cube. If BigHit decides to get other Entertainments under its control, the CEO should move cautious on this kinds of decisions, because-okay-BTS are a big name worldwide and TXT are doing great to follow their seniors steps. The same goes for GFriend. But, with no offense guys, I feel that something not so good will happen sometime in the future, which will cause a disaster for BigHit. There's a saying: After a huge success, there's a big fall down! (That's also one reason why I stopped stanning BTS).
And again-this is my opinion; I'm not telling bad things about anybody and not hurting anyone with words!
I don't think Big Hit has acquired Pledis Entertainment yet, there were rumors about it but that's it. Unless I missed something.
Now my opinion about it is that Big Hit is obviously trying to expand their business since BTS will be enlisting soon and I'm excited about the new debuts. I hope everything goes well with their decisions.
Well..yes Bang Si-Hyuk's conference was actually posted on Youtube on their official channel along with English subs. He did mention Seventeen join the squad

By acquiring, I meant like joining hands together and like working together just like Bighit and Source Music. It doesn't mean that Pledis is whole heartdly under Bighit but some part of it would be in their control
