Okay so I am a babysitter in my town now and have done it before, however, I would still like some tips because it can get stressful sometimes. Can anyone help?

1: Bring things to occupy the kids, coloring books, crayons, markers (washable), toys, those bigger legos, etc.
2: Bring things to occupy yourself
3: Know the ages of the kids
4: If you get stressed, have a way to relieve it, stress toys, fidgets, tapping, etc.

I really suggest you being calm with the kids. Some kids a really like easy to make them happy again. If you don't have the patience I understand. I know its stressful, but yeah. Don't out of a sudden yell at them or something. Like just be chill ig.

Ahaha- you apparently don't know me. I am very calm and never really get angry. I have professionally trained myself to hide my stresses and anxieties behind a smile :D Either way, yes, thank you

All of those are kind of a given-
You seriously think people will forget food? Never mind, don't answer that

All I can say is .. don't let kids use your phone. They will cling to it and throw tantrums when you take it from them.

This comes from me being an aunt to a few spoiled 3 year olds. Their moms just let them use it just so they don't run everywhere and sit still.. sighs.

I know kids will go and ask for your phone, too. I usually just say “I’m sorry, I left it at home”

Honestly taking them for walks helps. Maybe play I Spy or smtg and they're occupied.

Doing a lot of basic activities is fun too. Like jump roping, drawing on the sidewalk with chalk, and if the parents allow it, tie-dyeing shirts in the backyard.
