I feel like when you first Stan a group you don't have to know all remembers names. They just come naturally after watching a lot of different videos about them. I think looking up what they done/accomplishments can help. Like how popular they were when they first debuted, or how many awards the have won. And guides. Maybe even silly and funny videos is then having fun and being genuine.
