So if you haven't heard, AllDay Project (co-ed group under YG Entertainment consisting of Annie, Bailey, Youngseo, Tarrzan, and Woochan) recently won a Daesang at KGMA (Korea Grand Music Awards).



Clips (which unfortunately I don't have rn ) show all the members immediately looking at Annie when ADP was announced, as well as other idols' faces appearing seemingly annoyed. This sparked controversy as Annie's father is very wealthy and well-known, and could easily have played a part in this win, which is assumed by many fans.

Most of all, fans seem to agree on one thing, however: AllDay Project doesn't deserve the win. Although ADP has only been around for months, other groups have been working for years. It's unfair they can get a Daesang in just 5 months. Groups like NewJeans before have gotten a Daesang in record time, but many netizens say they deserved it, unlike AllDay Project.

ATEEZ win too. if you compare adp and attez in korean charts, adp actually had good charts, they even had RAK this year.

all the groups you mention had daesang expect meovv. i agree meovv deserve a daesang too but the reason why adp got the daesang is because kgma is not even an important award like MAMA n MMA, kgma is well known to gave award to groups that attend only. adp also the only groups that had win against blackpink and aespa in music shows and had RAK

hi girl, its alright if you think they win daesang in their rookie time is suspicious but i want to tell many things to you so that you dont hate adp. first, kgma is not a prestige or important award like MAMA n MMA. kgma is well known for given awards only groups that attend it. secondly, if you compare to other rookie groups, adp is the only group that keep charting in multiple korean charts, have RAK and wins against blackpink and aespa in music shows. adp might not be that popular in global but they are loved by the korean. third, the daesang that adp got more like an attendance award, even the boyz with bunch of scandals this year got the same awards
