This is actually my first fanfic.. so it's probably not that good. This is also a Juyeon x Y/N fanfic. (This personality of Juyeon in this story most likely wont be like his real personality.)
Genre: Mystery, Romance, (Ig you can say horror, but not exactly)

I tried my best to make it well written, but it's not as good as others. Btw, This is probably going to be only 2-4 chapters.. I haven't really decided yet.

Chapter 1.
‘When the sky turns dark.’​

“Y/N, stop being so scared of the dark and go down the basement to get some treats for us!” Your sister would beg..
You were always scared of the dark for certain reasons.

That eerie feeling you get when you’re alone in the dark.
Especially, In the middle of the night.

But you are much older now, your fear has faded.. But only a bit.

“9:52” your clock says.

The light blue night sky starts to turn dark while you walk home from your friend’s house.
The trees looking directly at you. You feel a bit frightened..

You feel like someone’s looking at you.
But whenever you turn back, there’s no one.

You shake it off and think you’re just imagining things.
But what if you’re actually not imagining things..?

You quicken your pace, thinking something unexpected could happen.

“Tap… Tap… Tap…”

You hear the taps and get frightened the moment you hear it.

It’s like the sounds of footsteps..

You look back nervously, but you still see nothing.

You take a deep breath in relief but at this point, you are just done.
You roll your eyes and continue to walk.

“Darn it, I should’ve taken a car.” you whisper, sighing.

The air suddenly feels different.
It feels more heavy and eerie.

It’s that exact feeling where you want to get out of a strange terrifying dream, but you can’t.

You don’t feel safe anymore.

You just feel like running now, running away from the frightening feeling.

So you start running, on the middle of the road, trees to your left and right.


The sky is getting darker..

And something catches your eye. A smiling man running next to you?

With the urge to cry, you take another deep breath.
Until someone starts chasing after you..

You look back to see a man 8 feet behind you and start screaming.

You are already exhausted, but you got to run to be safe.


“D*mmit, I shouldn’t have stayed at Yujin’s house for so long..” You say, regretfully.

You look back again, just to see no one there. What could have happened?


You slow down your pace, thinking you are safe now. But no, someone suddenly runs up to you.

You freak out and start to scream your lungs out for help. You even try fighting the man, but that doesn't do much.

The man’s hands cover your mouth, which leads you to be dead silent, just a bit of mumbles.


You try escaping from his arms but he’s too strong.

He grabs a piece of cloth and wraps it around your mouth.

You can’t talk anymore, only mumble. He ties your hands together with a string.

He’s threatening you to get in the car. You try doing whatever you can to escape, but it’s useless.


The guy yells at you roughly, “GET IN THE CAR. DO WHAT I SAY OR IT’S AN AUTOMATIC DEATH FOR YOU.”
You flinch at the loud threatening words and start tearing up.


You try saying a sentence, but all you do it mumble beneath the cloth.
So you decide to calm down..


Then unexpectedly, he pushes you into the car. Aggressively.

He closes the door shut and locks the back seat.


You feel like you’re going to die soon..

You don’t want it to be over but it’s happening. You just hope someone will come and save you.

Even though you are confident someone would not come.


He opens the front seat door and looks at you from that sight.
His glare.. It’s that mysterious hatred glare.

You haven’t got any of those death glares in a long time.


He stops looking at you and sits in the driver’s seat.

Then he starts the engine and just zooms ahead.. “This b*stard isn’t even driving correctly..” you think.


Just then, you start having trouble breathing..
You’re gasping for air-

“Oh my God.. A-am I going to die here? In this dusty ugly car?” You wonder.

Then your vision gets blurry.. Everything gets dizzy and shaky..

You look at your hand, but feel light-headed.
The sight of your hand is not clear.. So you look around.


But the sight of the dark, gloomy, the eerie air, the sight of the trees, about everything.. starts going dark and blurry.

“Am I going unconscious?” You ask yourself..


Then suddenly.. Everything goes black.

Chapter 2.
‘Run away’​

You wake up to the sounds of fighting or killing materials..

While you lift your head slowly, you look around with a blurry sight.

Your head hurts so you groan a bit..

You look at your clock and it says ‘10:03’

“I must’ve slept for pretty long..” you say to yourself.

You notice that the cloth that was on your mouth is now released.

Your feet are also stuck together.
And you are tied onto a chair.

“Ah, she’s awake huh?” A very buff smelly man says. He looked gross.

The guy’s hair looked like it wasn’t brushed in for ages.
He had a beard and his shirt wasn’t even the right size for him.

He also had a staff on his hand..

You were disgusted and frightened by him.

“What a shame.. For you to walk alone in the night. In the dark.. On the streets..” He disrespects.

“Just what a shame, for you to get kidnapped because you weren’t being safe. This is your punishment. This is your fault. And remember that.”

Those words make you feel frustrated..

The nerve of him to just say that when he shouldn’t even be kidnapping in the first place.

“What…?” you question.

“You heard me.” he grins.

You roll your eyes and release a breath, “You’re saying this is my fault? What..? You shouldn’t even be kidnapping in the first place.. The disrespect-” you try informing.

‘Don’t you dare try talking back. The disrespect you have..’ The guy interrupts.

You keep shut.. You know it won’t be easy escaping.

“What in the world..” you say silently in your head.

The man looks at you with disgust and storms off the room, being annoyed.

During that time, you try to do your best to escape.

You have to be really careful though.

You look around the room just to find a camera and other useless things.

There’s no windows.

After all, it’s a dungeon.

You try to release the string that tied you together.
But it was hopeless.

Just then, the same guy from earlier comes back into the room.

He has a cage of bugs..

“Disgusting..” You think to yourself.

The man grins and puts the cage down.

You’re scared for your life..

He slowly bends down and points to the cage of bugs.

“I’m going to release these bugs real soon..” He chuckles.

You stare directly into his eyes..

“Why..” You question.


“What do you mean why? Tch- This is your punishment.. I’ve already told you.” The guy responds.


“Why.. Why do you have to do this? Just because I walked by myself in the dark doesn’t mean you have the right to kidnap. This teaches us no lesson!” you confront.

He looks at you.. Almost laughing while he gets up.


“Heh- That’s a nice joke you got there. But remember. Do not talk back.” He says with frustration.


You look away, wishing this whole thing was a dream..
Wishing someone would come.

The man bends down again and gets ready to release the cage.

Your eyes lift..

You try escaping, but you can’t.

Then one by one.. Bunch of creepy bugs are released..

The man laughs nonstop.


“Oh to be you right now.. This is what you get, you dirty piece of hag.” He chuckles.


The bugs come closer..
You try lifting your feet so the bugs won’t get near you..


Then the door bursts open.

A guy shows up..

The guy looks pretty young and is an attractive man.

He also looks about 5’11.

And he has a serious chill look on.

“Who are you and what are you doing here?” The old man asks the new man that just arrived.

The young man throws a punch to the kidnapper.

You’re amazed that he can punch someone like that.


You look down to see the bugs getting real close to you.

You decide to step on the bugs. It was gross stepping on them but you managed to get rid of some.


Meanwhile, the attractive man managed to bring the kidnapper down.

The kidnapper was on the ground, looking really sore.

You felt relieved and appreciated the young man’s help.

But, you were also feeling uneasy about him because what if he’s someone you can’t trust?


The young man makes eye contact with you.

You quickly look away from being fluttered.


He heads over to you with scissors on his hand.

You thought he might do something bad, but he only cuts the strings up.


After cutting all the strings that were keeping you together he says, “You can go now. I know the way to escape.”


“Oh- well thank you..” You thank him nervously.


“No big deal, now get out of here quickly while I deal with this hag.” He suggests.


“Ah- okay..” you say while leaving.


You quickly head out the door.
But you’re kinda frightened because you don’t know the way..

You end up being lost..

It’s such a dark hallway.. It looks very old and rusty as well.

You look around for any signs, but there’s none.

Now you’re trapped in the dungeon..

Just in time, the man from earlier finds you.


“What are you still doing here?” He asks.


“I- uh got lost.. And don’t know the way..” You respond.


‘Oh haha, I guess it’s my fault for not even telling you the direction.” The guy admits.


“No, you’re fine!” You say to keep him from blaming himself.


“Alright.. Uh we should go now, it’s pretty late.” He recommends.


“Okay then.” you agree

The man leads the way to the exit.


During that time, he checks back on you to keep you from any danger.

"He must be a gentlemen.." You think.

It took a while, but you both managed to escape.

“What are you guys doing?” Someone says..

The young man tells you to run while he tries bringing down the guy.

You nod and start running.

He later follows and catches up with you.

“He’s pretty fast..” You think.

You guys keep on running until he stops.

The guy unlocks his car door and tells you to get in.

You hesitate at first, but then you get in the car.

You guys stay awkward and silent for about 2 minutes until the man speaks up.


“Oh, my name is Juyeon by the way.” He says.


“Mine’s y/n” you also greet.


“Nice name..” Juyeon compliments.


“Thanks, you have a nice name too-” You also say.


“Thank you. By any chance, do you go to Seoul SK high?” He asks.


“Oh, I do..” You reply. ‘How’d you know?”


Juyeon looks at you then looks back at the road, “I think I've seen you before.”


Your face lightens and you say, “Really? What class?”


He smiles and says, “B02.”


You notice that the class he’s in is nearby. “Ah, i’m in B04.”


“That’s good to hear, maybe we can talk more in school.” Juyeon suggests.


“Sure, i’m fine with that. Also, I think I can get out of this stop..” you say.


“Oh alright.” he allows.


Juyeon then unlocks the door for you.


You open the door and head out, but when you are about to close the door Juyeon waves you a goodbye.


You do the same then head to your apartment.

The next morning, you get ready for school.


You’re almost late, but you managed to get ready on time.


You head out and go to the nearest train section.


Just to see someone familiar..

‘Oh haha, I guess it’s my fault for not even telling you the direction.” The guy admits.


“No, you’re fine!” You say to keep him from blaming himself.


“Alright.. Uh we should go now, it’s pretty late.” He recommends.


“Okay then.” you agree

The man leads the way to the exit.


During that time, he checks back on you to keep you from any danger.

"He must be a gentlemen.." You think.

It took a while, but you both managed to escape.

“What are you guys doing?” Someone says..

The young man tells you to run while he tries bringing down the guy.

You nod and start running.

He later follows and catches up with you.

“He’s pretty fast..” You think.

You guys keep on running until he stops.

The guy unlocks his car door and tells you to get in.

You hesitate at first, but then you get in the car.

You guys stay awkward and silent for about 2 minutes until the man speaks up.


“Oh, my name is Juyeon by the way.” He says.


“Mine’s y/n” you also greet.


“Nice name..” Juyeon compliments.


“Thanks, you have a nice name too-” You also say.


“Thank you. By any chance, do you go to Seoul SK high?” He asks.


“Oh, I do..” You reply. ‘How’d you know?”


Juyeon looks at you then looks back at the road, “I think I've seen you before.”


Your face lightens and you say, “Really? What class?”


He smiles and says, “B02.”


You notice that the class he’s in is nearby. “Ah, i’m in B04.”


“That’s good to hear, maybe we can talk more in school.” Juyeon suggests.


“Sure, i’m fine with that. Also, I think I can get out of this stop..” you say.


“Oh alright.” he allows.


Juyeon then unlocks the door for you.


You open the door and head out, but when you are about to close the door Juyeon waves you a goodbye.


You do the same then head to your apartment.

The next morning, you get ready for school.


You’re almost late, but you managed to get ready on time.


You head out and go to the nearest train section.

Chap 3.
‘Bitter’
​

You look more closely at the person who looks familiar, but you still can’t quite get it.
You decide it doesn’t matter and just wait patiently for the bus to arrive.

Just in time, the bus arrives to pick you up.

You head in the direction of where the bus’s door is and go in.

You walk down the aisle and sit in an empty spot.

It was a sunny but windy day.
One of your favorite types of weather.

You take out your phone and start going through social media.

You notice that B02’s popular kid posted a photo of him and his friends.

His name is Yeon..
And he looks awfully familiar.

You’ve seen him a couple of times, but he looks so familiar now.

You realize that the person you saw at the bus station was Yeon..

But no way..

Does that mean he lives near you?
And does that mean he’s on this bus?

You decide to shake it off and get over it.

You are almost at school anyways.

Suddenly, Juyeon comes across your head.

“Hmm.. That’s right- He looks like Yeon..” You admit in your head.

Then you realize they are both in B02.
But you’ve never really seen Juyeon there.

You find that a bit suspicious…

“Eh- I shouldn’t even care. I’m probably just overreacting anyway” You think.

The bus is about to land around your school.

You decide to get your bags ready, so you don’t have to take forever organizing when the bus lands.

Just in time, the bus lands near your school.
You get off and walk to the school.

It’s around the corner, so it’ll only take about 2-5 minutes.

After walking for about a minute, someone taps your shoulder.

You look back in confusion and see Yeon.

He smiles lightly, and you guys make eye contact for 5 seconds.

You shake your head and bow at him.

“Hey y/n.” He greets.


“How do you know my name-?” You ask.


“Ah- I’m actually Juyeon. I just go by Yeon and dress a little differently in school.” He replies.


“Oh- and why is that?” you question.


“I mean, it’s kind of a complicated story.. But I change my appearance and go by Yeon for more privacy with my life as Juyeon. Some people actually know I'm Juyeon, Like my close friends.. Yeon is kinda a nickname of Juyeon.” Juyeon answers.


“I see, well we can maybe meet up later in the day, let’s get to class now.” You request.


He nods his head and says “Sure.”

You guys split up and go to class.

Later that day, you guys find each other again.
This time, he’s with his friends and you’re with your friends.

He introduces you to his friends and you figure there’s a girl there.

You’re kind of excited because you'd like to be friends with her.

Then you introduce Juyeon to both of your friends, Hyewon and Chuu.

“Is he your boyfriend or something?” Chuu jokingly asks.

“No, of course not-” you respond.

Chuu doesn’t believe you so she says, “Mhmm...”


“I don’t think they’re dating. I mean It’s obvious..” A friend of Juyeon’s says.


“Oh, that’s Chaeyoung. And this is Minho and Jungwoo.” Juyeon reminds you.


“Nice to meet you.” Jungwoo says with a smile.


“Nice to meet you too, and this is Chuu and Hyewon.” You say.


“Heyy!” Chuu lights up a smile.


You all smile and chat for a little while until Chaeyoung says, “I think we should get going now.”


“That’s right..” You agree.

Then you guys go to your guy’s next class..

After a few hours, you are finally done with school.

You meet up with Juyeon at the front of the school.
He asks you if you live nearby his home.

Since you don’t know, you say, “Uhm, I don’t know, but possibly.”

So then he offers you a ride home.

You agree, while he gets his car ready.

Then Chaeyoung goes up to you and Juyeon.

“Hey Chaeyoung, what are you doing here?” Juyeon asks her.


“Well, I thought if you could drop me off..” She replies.


“Uhm, well I was planning to drop off y/n” Juyeon then says.


“I mean, if Chaeyoung wants you to drop her off, you don’t have to drop me off. I can always take the bus.” You say while panicking.


“That’s right.” Chaeyoung approves.

You thought she would say something like, “Oh it’s fine. I can take the bus instead.” or “Why don’t you drop us both off.” But it was whatever because you didn't mind.


“Oh sure then.. I can drop you off maybe tomorrow.” Juyeon says to you.


“I’m fine with that.” You end with a smile.


“Well good. Now Juyeon get your a** in the car and drop me off!” Chaeyoung jokingly says.


Juyeon laughs and responds with, “What did you say? Well then don’t wanna drive off without you!, so hurry and get in the car!”


“They seem pretty close”, you think.

You somehow get a bit jealous..

“Why am I feeling like this?” You laugh a bit. “I’m ridiculous..”

You walk to the nearest bus station and wait for the bus to arrive.
While waiting for the bus, you see Chaeyoung’s instagram post.

It’s with Juyeon..

And it’s a picture of both of them laughing and posing while they’re in the car.

The caption says, “With Yeon!! Any suggestions for where we should go?”

You roll your eyes and scroll down to other people’s posts.

Then you wonder, “Wait hold up, Am I provoked right now? I shouldn’t be.”

You sigh and shake the feeling off.
You decide it’s better to just wait patiently for the bus.

The bus comes a few minutes later and you go on the bus.

You then take a seat and go on your phone again.

It’s now Juyeon’s story.

You open it and realize he put a pic of Chaeyoung and him eating.

It’s that jealousy feeling again.

You sigh and just scroll through tiktok.

A few minutes later, it’s about time for you to head out.
You get your things ready and go out the bus’s door.


Then you walk home.

But you decide to go to Chuu’s house.

You guys were planning to hang out, including Hyewon.

You walk to Chuu’s house.

Her house isn’t as far from where the Bus dropped you off, so you were pretty safe.

In just 3 minutes, you were at Chuu’s house.
Hyewon was already there, so they both welcomed you.

You guys talk and play games for an hour and a half.

It’s 5:32.

You decide you should head home now.

So you wave your friends goodbye and go out the door.

Even though it's daytime, you’re still quite scared from what happened yesterday.
You look out for any suspicious people and try heading home fast.

It would take around 7 minutes to get to your house.

You start breathing heavily and look around again.
Then you see Juyeon’s car.

You start walking a bit more slowly to actually check if it’s Juyeon’s car.

He drives up to you and rolls his windows down, “Oh, I thought you headed home already.”


“No, I stayed at a friend’s house for an hour.” You correct him.


“I see. Here, I can drive you home.” He requests.


“Well, my neighborhood is nearby. So I think I’m fine.” You say.


Juyeon’s face shockens a bit and says, “My neighborhood is nearby too.”


“Oh for real? That’s nice!” You exclaim. “Where’s your neighborhood?”


“It’s _____.” Juyeon replies.


Your face lightens and you go closer to Juyeon, “I live in that neighborhood too!”


“Well good to hear, I’ll take you home.” Juyeon smiles.


You smile back and say, “Sure.”


You get in the passenger’s seat and put on your seatbelt.

You take out your phone, since you got a notification.
It’s your mom…

You decide to read the text she sent.

‘Hey y/n, I’m going to be out for 3 days since I have a business trip to take care of. Please take care of yourself, the home, and your sister in the meanwhile. Your dad would be there for you too. But he has a lot of work to do, so you’re in charge. I guess it’s okay if you have some friends over, but only if dad allows it. Thank you y/n, take care!’

Your face becomes a bit more serious.

“How am I going to take care of my sister..?” You say silently in your head.

Juyeon notices and questions if something happened.


“Nothing happened, just that my mom is going on a business trip.” You answer.


“Oh-” Juyeon says.


“But I don’t know what to do with the house and my sister. She never listens to me..” You continue.


“How old is she?” Juyeon wants to know.


“She’s 17, but she’s still girlier than me.” You respond.


“Oh haha, Maybe I can help a bit?” Juyeon requests.


You think of the idea and say, “Uhm.. Maybe- But I don't know.”


“Hm, Let me know when you have your answer and message me.” he orders.


“Yeah sure!” You reply. “Also, I can get off at this stop, my house is very close.”


Juyeon slows down his car and says, “Alright then.”


You grab your things and get ready to head out.

Then he unlocks the door for you.
You say goodbye and walk home.

You open the door to your house and head inside.

You check to see if mom already went on the business trip.
It seems like she already did..

You notice that dad is also not home yet.
So it’s just you and your sister.

You head upstairs to go to your room, but you find out that your sister is heading somewhere.

She’s dressed all fancy..

“Where are you going?’ You ask her.


“Why do you care?” She responds.


You roll your eyes and say, “I’m just asking. I can’t just let you go out somewhere by yourself like that.”


“Well I’m going to a friend’s house okay? Now let me go.” Your sister declares.


While sighing, you say, “I’m not letting you go with wearing that-”


She rolls her eyes at you and says, “I’m not a baby y/n.. You’re only a few years older than me. I can dress however I want to.”


“Wonyoung, I get that okay? It’s just that mom would not be happy seeing you go out like this!” You exclaim.


Wonyoung, your sister lets out a huge sigh and heads to her room, “You’re not mom. I’ll change, then I’ll go to my friend’s house.”

Since you’re sick of her behavior, you decide to not even argue with her anymore.
You head to your room and throw your bookbang on the bed.

With the thought of him needing to help out, you take out your phone and text him.

A bit later, he replies and says, ‘Yeah sure, I can help then. But on Thursday, Chaeyoung wants me to help her study. So I might not be able to help out that day.’

You start getting a bit jealous or annoyed with Chaeyoung..
Even though she's really doing no harm.
You feel unhappy with her.

“He’s always planning on hanging out with Chaeyoung. Maybe he’s dating her.. ” You say quietly.

“Ugh it’s whatever.. I shouldn’t even care,” You realize.

You decide to reply to him with ‘Okay, I’m fine with that.’

A few hours later, There’s a bunch of knocks and screams on the door.
You quietly get up and head down.

You’re very scared to look out the window because there might be someone near.

Then a few minutes later, the yelling stops..
Suddenly, you hear a female and a male’s voice…

You think of your sister, Wonyoung and try to open the door silently.
But then it’s Juyeon with Wonyoung.

“Did something happen..?” You ask.


Wonyoung releases a breath and heads in.
She looked like she was scared for her life.

“Some kidnapper on the loose again I think.” Juyeon says.


“Oh, that’s bad..” You say.. "Thank you for keeping an eye on my sister"


“Yeah you're welcome!, I was out for a bit then I saw your sister run, while looking scared. So I decided to help out or something.” Juyeon said.


“Thanks again.. Hopefully we can meet up tomorrow!” You say positively.


Juyeon smiles and replies with, “Yeah hope so too.”

You then close the door and lock it.
But right after he left, you start getting that eerie feeling again.
