I want to do cosmetology or be an economist or lawyer, but "what about your family, you are always going to be at work with MEN and no time for kids and cooking, get a job that lets you be closer to your family rather then away from them"

when I was 8 all I wanted to be was a pilot. I rlly has a thing for ‘travelling the world’ lol. I desperately wanted to be one, so when I told my parents, they told me that ‘u can’t have that job, it’s not a good one, are u planning to leave all ur kids with ur husband? Family comes first’
I can’t believe they kept telling me abt getting a husband when I was literally a child like, whenever I told them that I didn’t want to get married they laughed and told me I was being ridiculous
