ITZY is a 5-member K-Pop girl group under JYP Entertainment, consisting of Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna. They debuted on February 11, 2019, with the single album IT'z Different. After ITZY’s debut, they quickly picked up popularity. Midzy (ITZY’s fandom name) [redacted for privacy] states that the thing that got her into ITZY was their music and the message they gave. ITZY’s earlier songs all had a recurring theme of loving yourself and not letting people tell you what you should be. When asked why she decided to stan ITZY, [redacted for privacy] stated that it was because “Yeji caught my eye and I just thought that these songs are going to change the world.” (4)

ITZY has been rocking the K-Pop industry for five years now, not showing signs of slowing down. Their songs have touched several people, not just fans.
