stereotype: albums are a waste of money

why it's true: unless you can play the cd, there's not rlly a point in buying the physical album. i mean, the extras are nice, but serve no real purpose other than to look at. (ig you could say the same for the cd too, tho). also, a lot of ppl just buy a bunch of albums for photocards, then throw the albums in the garbage. victon had a great idea to fix this tho: when you buy the digital album, you get the photocards/posters/whatever in the mail, just not the photobook that a lot of ppl toss away

exactly! if i paid that much money for something, for sure i'm gonna keep it! i've seen ppl leave literally thousands of albums laying on the street after they got the photocards out, smh

Yikes. I've also seen videos of fans showing kpop albums in stores being ripped open because other "fans" wanted to steal the photocards...

I can say this is 100% I have so many albums & I can’t even use the cds because my stereo, the CD player doesn’t work LMFAOO, I can’t find my portable CD player either & I don’t have a car, where I would be able to play said cds if I did, so yeah, this stereotype is 100% facts
