well as a kin myself, if you've ever heard of goblincore (please use corvidcore as goblincore is anti-semetic, i just used goblincore to explain), many people like that (corvidcore) as an aesthetic, and often like to say that they feel like corvids/crows, which is kinning in a way. in that sense, it is okay, but don't seriously kin if you're not a kin yourself. idk if this made sense, i hope-

if that helps u understand it then yeah! it feels like ur not the correct species, like therians believe they should have been born animals, i myself as fairykin believe i am a fairy (mostly due to things like my autism but yeah) and so on ^^
