I recommend the Vietnamese film Hai Phượng (English name: FURIE). It's like a mix between the American film Kidnap and the Korean film Ahjusshi (Man from Nowhere). Also the Thai film Bad Genius. It's not exactly an action or horror film, but it's suspenseful and is based on a true story.

I already watched Oldboy, The ViIllaines, Ong Bak 1-3 and Headshot

Battle Royal, Ip Man and The Wailing are already on my "watchlist" but I would love to watch more.

I don't know if you really care about romance movies, but if you do I recommend "The Beauty Inside". It's a Korean movie that was recommended to me and I really enjoyed it.
