About ‘BE’:
– “BE” is a largely self-produced album with the band members involved in almost every aspect right from the photo concepts to wardrobe aesthetics.
– Talking about the album, leader RM said “Our core message is that despite whatever happens, no matter what happens, life goes on”.
– On November 24, 2020, the group was announced as nominees for the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ category at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards for their first fully recorded in english song “Dynamite” (which was initially released as a single), making them the first ever K-pop group to be nominated.
– “BE” is meant to be a page out of a journal. The word “be” implies a sense of being, or of existing. Its open-ended nature helps the group talk about their story, thoughts, and aspirations honestly.
